GBTech completed the integration of Website and member database today, providing the organisation with live access to user-maintained data.

Using MySQL database technology on Dell servers, GBtech integrated the existing data into a Drupal based website "www.fgbmfi.org.uk". The membership data was linked to user login ids within the CMS, giving all registered users the access to amend their own details online. The organisation has many hundreds of members throughout the UK and Ireland.

Despite the limitations of the CMS technology, a view of the data has been created which re-presents the format of an old data source which was in use. Using ODBC technology, authorised staff now have access to the live, amended data in a familiar form.
